Well, i'm FINALLY off for a few weeks for Summer 2009...starting my vacation with the MOTHERLOAD of Garage Sales...several families jumping in to get rid of some junk and maybe make a little cash!!
Phil has not slowed down at all...left home for work Sat. at4:30 am...it is now Monday night at 10:20 pm, and he still isn't' home yet...the man is the freaking energizer bunny..
Kade loves to "water the driveway", my water bill will be atrocious this month...He's loving the idea of a garage sale, wait until he sees people walking off with his stuff on Friday... :0

CRAAAAAAAZY busy at work..BOTH Phil and I !! 2more full days, Monday off then 4 half days next week, then "SCHOOL'S OUT FOR THE SUMMA!!" GOTTA LOVE IT!! I HAVE TO WORK 2 MORE WEEKS, BUT WE CAN FINAlly get some work done when the kids are gone!! HAHA!! Everyone needs a break about now in public schools!!
Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at the Coast, and looking fwd. to a few small "getaways" this summer!!!
This is McKenzie's last year at middle school, she'll be in junior high next year!! WOW!! Hard to believe!! Kade has one more year in pre-K then off to "big boy school". Maddie will be a junior, and it should be quite busy!! Varsity Mascot all fall and TWO regional offices in FCCLA all spring!
...whew, i'm already tired thinking about it!!

it's raining...again...
well....it's kind of a double edge sword...It's raining, again...no laying out today :( but it also means that phil can't mow, and he'll actually be HOME WITH US ALL DAY! I did most of the housework yesterday, so we'll get to actually paint our bathroom!!! Maddie's been in lifeguard training, literally ALL WEEKEND!!! 5-10 Fri night, 8a-9p yesterday, and 7:30a-??? today!! She hasn't even complained much...well, maybe about getting up early...
Kade went on his first "play date", all by himself yesterday!! 3 1/2 years old, and I dropped him off at Kaden Watts' house at 1pm, and when they dropped him off at 7:00 pm, I literally had to pull the grip of his little fingers off of the truck!! He Had SOOOOO much fun!!! not to mention the fact that I got SOOOOO much done!!! ;)
Our friend Shelby, and her new husband came over and did some "French" projects for her room on her new cricut(I'll NEVER remember how to spell it!!) I'll try to post some picts, if I can figure out how to do it...
We've all been sneezing our heads off, I even asked Kenzie if she had the "pig flu" yesterday, she has a little bit of a sore throat and kinda sounds like Phil...
Nonni and Poppy have been gone 14 days today, and will be flying in this Wed. ewvening!!! I'm soooo jealous of their 17 day European adventure, but I'm also VERY glad they're coming home!! I've missed them alot, and do NOT like not being able to speak to them whenever I want!
Since we have this Friday off of school for the beloved Brenham tradition, Maifest, AAAND since this is the first year since she was 2 that Maddie hasn't participated...we're gettin' the HECK outta' dodge!!! Headed down to the coast to see Phil's mom, brother and family and his sister and family for the weekend!! It's been emberrassingly long since we've made the trip!!
Here's wishing everyone a productive, peaceful, "pig-flu-free" week...
